On October 14, I and Meg participated in a flea market. It was held in the nearest department store.
We sold old clothes, shoes, bags, stuffed animals, and so on. At first, we were a little worried whrther our goods were sold , but we made about 10,000yen in the end!! ^^
A flea market is a good chance for recicling. Something I no longer need is useful for someone. And a flea market is also a good chance to communicate with others. We enjoyed chat with customers^^ Next month, I will have my store in a flea market again. I want to enjoy myself again(^o^)b

We have flea markets and garage (or yard) sales here in the U.S., and I am glad to know you have such things in Japan, too; I hate the idea that something useful must be thrown away. I much prefer finding a new home for it. It is of course nice to make money selling stuff one no longer needs or wants, but sometimes it is enough to find it a good home. Freecycle.org is a wonderful organization, national and maybe international, that matches unwanted stuff with new owners. The only stipulation is that it must be given, not sold. I recently gave away a table saw through Freecycle. I was glad to get it out of my basement, and the young carpenter who took it is glad to have it! A win-win situation.
